Hana interviews her friend and fellow Korean adoptee Katelyn, an accomplished writer, researcher, and activist in the transracial, transnational adoption community. Katelyn talks about moving to and from Korea, what it’s like to do adoption-related research, and birth family search and reunion - as well as Korean skincare and her favourite Korean dramas! Katelyn Hemmeke was born in Seoul, Korea, and raised in Michigan. She is a two-time Fulbright grant recipient and holds an MA in English from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She currently lives in Seoul.
